Eagles' key front office executive interviewing for Patriots job
Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles could lose a key member of their front office to the New England Patriots.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Eagles director of scouting Brandon Hunt interviewed Tuesday for the New England Patriots lead personnel job.

Hunt, a 19-year scouting veteran, joined the Eagles’ front office in 2022 after 12 as the pro scouting coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before his second stint with Pittsburgh, Hunt was a pro scout for the Houston Texans from 2007-09. And in the two years leading up to that, Hunt worked as an intern in the Steelers' scouting department.

Hunt has a football background himself as a four-year starter at guard and center for Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2000-03. He was a team captain during his senior year and earned first-team All-PSAC and All-Region honors. Hunt has a bachelor's degree in management information systems and a master's degree in business administration from IUP.

The Patriots also contacted Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray, Arizona Cardinals vice president of player personnel Quentin Harris, and Cincinnati Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown.

They all declined to interview.
