A former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback was roasted during The Roast of Tom Brady Netflix special
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

It's no secret that the Las Vegas Raiders have had their fair share of mess-ups over the years. They have been a team that others feel is easy to make fun of, and maybe that's what happens when you don't win a playoff game in 20 years.

Of course, that could always change. And they haven't been the butt of the jokes as of late, and maybe that's because of the culture change. Even Tom Brady, who hosted a roast on Netflix, made a joke involving the Raiders, but the silver and black were on the good side of the joke.

Some of the bad things they have done have been being attention grabbers. One of those things was to sign Jimmy Garoppolo to the deal they did. Obviously, it lasted just one year. But it was still bad.

Now, other team owners are roasting Garoppolo, as he's catching strays on the Netflix special that debuted on Sunday night.

"Tom, good luck buying the Raiders. They did your favorite thing for you already -- they got rid of Jimmy Garoppolo," New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft said to Tom Brady.

Now, Garoppolo did not have to catch a stray like that, but it is funny. And, yes, the Raiders got him right up out of there—just like the Patriots did when they traded him to the San Francisco 49ers.
